Allow Travelers to register in Invitation Groups?
When you go to UPDATE TRIP > SETTINGS you have the ability as the planner to allow your travelers to register in an invitation group. Not sure what an invitation group is? Explore our help doc 'What is an invitation group'?
There are two options:
No - travelers can only register solo
Yes - travelers can register in groups of up to the number set
If you choose 'Yes' you will be able to customize your invitation group settings:
> Maximum Number of People
By default, a trip will have "1" selected.
To allow your Travelers to book on behalf of their family or friends, simply select the MAXIMUM number of allowed.
- 2 = couples or friends, but people can also register solo
- 3 = small group of friends or family, can register as 1, 2 or 3 people
- ...
- 10 = largest group/team, can register as 1, 2, 3 or up to 10 people in one group
Choosing any number greater than 2 prompts for additional information.
All these fields can be left as default if you aren't sure.

How will it look to Travelers?
Once a Planner has allowed travelers to register as Invitation Groups, they will see the options below when they click the button to register.
In this example, the Traveler has selected 2, so they are prompted to enter the name of their companion.
This is where the instructions provided earlier will appear.
The owner of the group must enter a name, but emails are NOT required. These can be populated after registration.
NOTE: If the Traveler has ALREADY registered, you can manually add people to their Invitation Group, but they cannot add them directly.
