For Premium Subscriptions, you can quickly enable Extra Registrations on a Trip under
UPDATE TRIP -> SETTINGS.
NOTE: If this feature doesn't appear, contact us via Chat in the lower right corner of the page to discuss how you can get it turned on for your account.
Otherwise, you'll see the following option under UPDATE TRIP->SETTINGS.
Maximum Extra Registration Option
By default, a trip will have "0 - No extra registrations" selected. To allow your Travelers to book on behalf of their family or friends, simply select the MAXIMUM number of extra registrations allowed.
0 - No extra registrations
Select this option if you only want people to book in as solo travelers. They will NOT be given the option to book for another person.
Select this option if you only want people to be able to book as couples or a couple of friends traveling together. This means they CAN book for up to 1 extra registration, but they can still book solo.
Select an option larger than 1 if you want people to be able to book as families or teams traveling together. This means they CAN book for up to the number chosen as extra registrations, but they can still book solo.
Extra Registration Instructions
When Extra Registrations is greater than zero, the option appears to enter "Extra Registration Instructions". This text will appear on the second screen when the Traveler is registering, it will prompt them to enter the names ONLY. Email addresses are not required for the extra registrations so they can quickly register and pay a deposit.
How will it look to Travelers?
Once a Planner has selected more than zero extra registrations, the option will appear for travelers when they register.
NOTE: If the Travel has ALREADY registered, you can manually add people to their Invitation Group, but they cannot add them directly.
In this example the Traveler has selected 3 extra people, so they are prompted on the next screen for the names of these 3 people.
This is where the instructions provided earlier will appear.
The owner of the group can choose to leave them as defaults or provide names. No emails are required. These can be populated after registration if available.
When a traveler registers with extra people, they are automatically added to the same Invitation Group with the name of the person who created the registration.
You can change the Invitation Group name after the registration is made without breaking the group.
All the people in an Invitation Group must pay together. All the members can also complete tasks on behalf of other members. This is helpful when one partner does all the admin work (like passports and visas) for the other, other if there are children in the party.
